Podcast Video Editing Price in India (2026): Episodes and Clips

The short answer

At Shinel Studios, editing one video podcast episode (up to 60 minutes, multicam) costs ₹3,499 for a channel that isn't monetized yet, or ₹4,399 for a monetized channel. Monthly podcast plans, which add vertical clips and thumbnails, start at ₹6,999 a month.

That is our published rate card, not a market average. We have not found a reliable, sourced survey of podcast editing prices in India, so we will not quote one; use the cost drivers below to judge any quote, ours included.

Full episodes are delivered in 5–10 days and clips in 48–72 hours, with 2 revision rounds per deliverable (an extra round is ₹299).

What changes the price of a podcast edit

1. Number of cameras. A single static camera is a trim job; three cameras need switching on every exchange.
2. Episode length. A 30-minute and a 90-minute episode are different amounts of work. Ask where the length cap is.
3. Audio clean-up. Echoey rooms, mismatched mics and background noise all take time to fix.
4. Clips. Finding the moments worth clipping means watching the whole episode. Clips priced "free" are often an afterthought.
5. Extras. Thumbnails, titles and chapters, captions and an audio-only export for podcast apps are sometimes included and sometimes not.

Who owns the edited episodes?

You own the final videos. Editing project files are not included by default; they are available for an extra fee. Ask every editor this before you start, because the answers vary.
