What is Shinel Tips?
Shinel Tips is live-stream tipping built by Shinel Studios for Indian streamers. Viewers tip from your tip page using UPI, cards or net banking (payments run through Razorpay), and an alert appears on your stream in under a second. It comes with goal bar, recent tips, top supporter and tip train widgets, 145 alert presets across 12 streamer types, and every message is checked before it is read aloud.
Does Shinel Tips charge a fee?
Shinel Studios clients pay a 0% platform fee, unless agreed otherwise. Streamers who are not clients pay a platform fee on each tip, shown in the tip studio before they start, and payment-processing costs are included in that fee. Every streamer must be 18 or older, have an Indian bank account in their own name and complete KYC, and each account is approved by Shinel Studios.
How does tipping work on a YouTube live stream with OBS?
You share your tip page link with viewers — in the stream description, a pinned chat message or your panels. In OBS you add your alert overlay as a Browser Source (it also works in Streamlabs, Meld, TikTok LIVE Studio and vMix). When a viewer pays on the tip page, the alert plays on stream in under a second. It is a separate tip page, so it works alongside YouTube's own features rather than replacing them.
What is in the monthly content plan?
Every Shinel client gets a calendar for the month: what to film, which day to shoot, when footage is due, and references matched to each format — Shorts for Shorts, long videos for long videos, carousel designs for carousels — with Hinglish working titles. It is built around your real routine. One first-month plan covered 112 posts across four accounts; a family channel's month was 25 posts from one Saturday shoot a week.
Do Shinel clients get a creator page and media kit?
Yes. Every creator we work with gets a bio page with live reach, reels showing their views and their latest Instagram, plus a brand media kit with an enquiry form built in. Creators are also featured on Pulse, our public feed of what our creators ship, with a "Live now" rail that shows their stream while they are on.
How does the weekly report work?
Once a week you get one short report called "Your week": what we delivered, what goes live next week, how the channel moved, and exactly what we need from you — clips to film, thumbnails to approve, a cut to review. If you stream with Shinel Tips, tips earned are included.
Can I use any of this if I am not a Shinel client?
Yes, two parts. The free growth tools — channel audit, thumbnail previewer, thumbnail A/B tester, clickability check, ROI and CTR calculator and the 30-day content calendar — are open to everyone with no sign-up needed to start. Shinel Tips is open to any streamer who applies and is approved, with a platform fee. The monthly plan, creator page and media kit, weekly report and Pulse feature are included for Shinel clients.
Does the creator platform cost extra?
No. It is included with Shinel Studios' editing, Shorts, thumbnail and growth plans — not sold as an add-on. Plan prices are listed on the pricing page.
