Six questions tell you most of what you need to know about any YouTube editor or agency: is there a paid test edit, can you see published work, how many revisions, what turnaround, who owns the files, and are thumbnails included. Here is why each matters, and how Shinel Studios answers it.

01Do you offer a paid test edit?
Why it matters: A paid test shows you the real editor on your real footage. A free sample is usually done by someone else, faster, and is not what you will get every week.
Shinel Studios: Yes. Shinel Studios offers a paid trial instead of a free sample: send your raw footage and we edit one video at the normal one-off price of that video (Shorts from ₹449, long-form from ₹1,499). If you continue, that video becomes the first video of your plan, already paid for.

Why it matters: Showreels are easy to fake. Ask for channel names and links you can open yourself, with dates on any numbers.
Shinel Studios: Yes. Our portfolio and case studies name real channels with dated numbers, for example Kundan Parashar (56 to 9,974 subscribers from November 2024) and Aish is Live (demonetized to monetized). Why it matters: "Unlimited revisions" usually means slow ones. A fixed number with a clear price for extras is easier to plan around.
Shinel Studios: 2 revision rounds per deliverable; an extra round is ₹299. Feedback is time-stamped, and a changed concept or replacement footage counts as new scope, not a revision.

Why it matters: Your upload schedule depends on it. Ask for a window per deliverable, not a vague "fast".
Shinel Studios: Thumbnails in 24–48 h, Shorts in 48–72 h and long-form videos in 5–10 days. Rush delivery in 24 hours is an add-on. We reply to new briefs within 24 h.
How a project runs05Who owns the files?
Why it matters: Know before you start whether you get only the finished video or the editing project too, and what the project files cost.
Shinel Studios: You own the final videos we deliver, with full rights to publish, monetise and reuse them. Editing project files (the Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve project and its working assets) are not included by default; they are available for an extra fee if you want them. Thumbnail and design orders include the layered source file.

Why it matters: Some editors quote for the video only. The thumbnail decides whether anyone clicks, so check it is in the price.
Shinel Studios: Thumbnails are included where a plan lists them (every tier of the Music & devotional, Vlogs & travel, Talking-head & education, Finance & business plans, for example). Otherwise a thumbnail is ₹499 on its own, delivered in 24–48 h.

Why it matters: Rotating editors means re-explaining your style every week.

08How do payments work?
Why it matters: Clear terms protect both sides.
Shinel Studios: New clients pay 50% upfront and the balance on delivery. Work starts after the upfront payment. Prices are published on our pricing page, not quoted after a sales call.
