The brief.
Kamz Inkzone is a tattoo studio with rooms in Jalandhar and Chandigarh. Tattoo work is unusually well suited to short-form video — the payoff is visual, it lands in under a second, and the finished piece is the hook. The problem is that a tattoo takes hours and the interesting part is buried inside it.
The job was to find the moment in each session that stops a thumb, and cut everything else away.
What we did.
- Vertical reel edits from long studio footage — one payoff per piece, no build-up
- Hook framing: the finished tattoo inside the first second, not at the end
- Pacing cut to the platform, not to the session
- Consistent grade across the set so the studio's work reads as one body
