Money safety
Every rupee is counted. Every change is seen.
At closing time the counter staff count the cash. If it is short, the screen says so in big words, and you see it in your night summary.
- Staff can't give discounts beyond the admin's limit or bill below the price list
- Receipts are never deleted, only voided, and every void is recorded with who and why
- Every money entry is fingerprint-chained: changes made outside the software are detected
- Advance only from money really received
- Nightly summary to the owner with discounts, voids and edits after payment

Questions clinics ask us
Do we need internet?
No. The offline version runs on your clinic's own computer. Phones, tablets and other computers connect over the clinic Wi-Fi. Internet is only used if you choose WhatsApp messages or online updates.
What if the computer breaks?
Shinel Care takes an encrypted backup every 2 hours and keeps a copy on a USB stick if you plug one in. We restore everything on a new computer.
Can staff steal money by editing or deleting bills?
No. Discounts are limited by the admin, receipts can only be voided (with a record of who and why), and every money entry is fingerprint-chained so changes made outside the software are detected. The owner gets a summary every night.
Is it in Hindi and Punjabi?
Yes. Each staff member can choose English, Hindi or Punjabi. Medicine names and medical terms stay in English, as doctors expect.
How many computers and phones can use it?
Any number on your clinic Wi-Fi. The plan sets how many staff accounts you can create.
What happens if we stop paying for support?
The software keeps working. You can always view, print and export your records. Support and new updates need an active AMC.
How do you help us if something goes wrong?
Call or WhatsApp us. We can connect to your computer with UltraViewer (only when you start it) and fix things while you watch.
Is it compliant with the DPDP Act?
Your hospital controls its patients' data (Data Fiduciary). Shinel Studios is a Data Processor and signs a Data Processing Agreement with you. Patient data is not sent to us.
Can we move from our old software?
Yes. We move your patients and bills and check every record and rupee before and after the move.
Is there an online version?
Yes, priced per doctor per month, with the same features. Each clinic's data is kept in its own separate database on servers in India.
