Is the Shinel bot safe to add to my server?
Yes. It is our own bot, run by Shinel Studios, and it only does what the setup and the alerts need. It never asks for Administrator, it cannot see your members' direct messages, and every change it makes to your server shows in the audit log.
What permissions does the bot ask for?
Only what the job needs: Manage Channels and Manage Roles to build the layout, Manage Server to switch on AutoMod and onboarding, and View Channels, Send Messages and Embed Links to post upload alerts. You can see the full list on Discord's own screen before you approve it.
Will you delete my existing channels?
No. We never delete your channels, messages or roles. Everything we build is added next to what you already have. If an old channel should go, we tell you and you decide.
Can I undo the setup?
Yes. Tell us during the approval step, or after, and we take out what we added and put back any setting we changed. Because we never delete anything of yours, there is always something to go back to.
Who owns the server?
You do. The server stays under your Discord account the whole time. We never ask you to transfer ownership, and our bot is a guest with the permissions you gave it.
Can I remove the bot any time?
Yes. Kick it from your member list or remove it under Server Settings, Integrations, whenever you like. The channels, roles and AutoMod rules we built stay; only the alerts and other bot features stop.
How much does a Discord server setup cost?
Starter Server is ₹2,999 one-time ($49 outside India) and Pro Server is ₹7,999 ($129). Monthly care starts at ₹1,999 a month. Shinel's monthly editing clients get the Starter Server free, and any editing client gets 25% off Pro Server.
How long does it take?
24-48 hours from the moment the bot is in your server and you have picked a template. Larger changes you ask for at the approval step can add a day.
